Our Story
Natasha’s philosophy on style was inspired by the grace and beauty of her constantly changing surroundings - sailing around the world from the age of 18, working on yachts and in private villas in Europe. This innate sense of style captured the attention of a client and led to a career move, turning unloved Italian houses into warm and inviting homes.

After eight years of immersing herself in making a difference to people’s homes in Italy, Natasha found that her own home was where her heart was and returned to the seaside in Sydney on Australia’s vibrant east coast. She came back with a burning desire to create fashion that also made a difference and so Harla was born. Founded in 2012, Harla remains true to Natasha’s vision of creating a unique and ethical brand of truly timeless pieces that you will love and they will love you back for a lifetime.
A labour of love
Created out of a desire to give back to the people and places she has called home, Harla is an ode to slow fashion, artisanship and authenticity. Each piece is an intense labour of love, with original hand-crafted screen prints creating subtle, soft edges on ethically sourced natural fibres ensuring that no two pieces are the same. Paying homage to the artistry behind the garment in styles that stand the test of time, each range is characterised by beautifully confident, free-flowing forms with inspiring original details nostalgically gathered from Natasha’s endless travels.
